Clatworthy Reservoir Map
Many of the bays, areas, and stretches of water at Clatworthy reservoir are named and often referenced by fly fishers using the water. Below is the reservoir map showing the most commonly fished areas and their locally known names. Some of these areas fish better at different times of the year and depend on the level of the water. Rowes End & Wescott Bay however pretty much fish well throughout the season (if you are new to the reservoir these would be good starting places to fish) so well worth trying here if you’re not having much luck elsewhere.
Getting to Clatworthy
The reservoir is nestled among the Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Accessed via quiet country lanes that meander through swathes of farmland the scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile.
